Accommodations

The conference will be held at Fort Marcy Hotel Suites in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There is a block of rooms reserved for conference participants. In order to take advantage of the group rate you must book your room BEFORE APRIL 17^th. At that point in time, any unbooked rooms will no longer be reserved for our party.

Our group rates at Fort Marcy are:

1 Bedroom Suite - $119/night
2 Bedroom Suite - $169/night
3 Bedroom Suite - $219/night

As the hotel has 1-3 bedroom suites, there is only a limited number of 1 bedrooms available. If you are traveling in a larger group or know others who are also attending, please consider booking a 2 or 3 bedroom suite (all that would be shared is the kitchen and central living space as each bedroom has its own bathroom). It is both more space efficient and more economical. If you are interested in sharing a suite and would like to be matched to a roommate you can email larvalfishcon@gmail.com and will be connected to others looking for roommates.

There are also nearby hotels (each about a half mile away) offering group rates for overflow:

La Fonda on the Plaza is offering a block of rooms at $119/night. To book a room at La Fonda please call (U.S.) 1-800-523-5002 and then choose #1 or (Int’l) 1-505-954-3500. Rates will be held until April 30, 2010.

Hotel Plaza Real is offering standard rooms for $120/night and suites for $135/night.

We also have a group rate at The Lodge at Santa Fe. This hotel is a great option for those who will have cars at the conference. It’s less than two miles from Fort Marcy Suites and is very affordable at $105/night. To book a room at The Lodge please call 505-992-5800.
