Abstract Submission

Submission of abstracts on all aspects of the early life history stages of fishes are welcome, either as an oral presentation or as a poster.

However, you do not have to submit your abstract at the same time as you register.

Please read the Guidelines for Abstract Preparation carefully before completing the form. Make sure that the entire text of your abstract falls within the box. To do this, you may have to use the horizontal scroll bar to view all of the text.

You should also identify whether you wish your submission to be considered for one of the theme sessions or for the general contributed paper category. If you need to be reminded of the theme sessions, click HERE.

Abstracts are required for all oral and poster presentations.

All abstracts must be submitted in English.

Guidelines for Abstract Preparation

Presentations will be either oral or poster. You must indicate your preference on the abstract submission form.

For multi-authored abstracts, the presenting author’s name should be in ALL CAPS.

All oral presenters are encouraged to use Microsoft Powerpoint to create their presentations and to bring them to the conference on a flashdrive or CD. Please specify if you require any special audio-visual equipment beyond the laptop computer, projector, and screen that will be available.

Abstract Format

Abstracts must be no more than 400 words (excluding authors, title, and addresses). The abstract title should be in ALL CAPS. Please do not use chemical or mathematical formulae, or Greek characters in your title. Use only English-language (ASCII) equivalents in your title. Provide a contact address for each author, including email address. If two or more authors are at the same address, list each author and one address. All author entries must be last name followed by first name or initials.

TITLE OF ABSTRACT (TITLE IN ALL CAPS)

PRESENTINGAUTHOR, U.P., Institution, City, Province or State, Country, Postal Code or Zip Code, Email address; 2nd Author, A.N. and 3rd Author, P.Q., 2nd Institute, etc.

Please limit the size of your abstract to 400 words. Abstracts must fit into the on-line box. The text should be presented as a single paragraph. Leave no blank lines within the body of the abstract. Please do not include illustrations, equations, figures or photos with your abstract. Abstracts will not be accepted if the presenting author has not registered and paid the registration fees for the conference.
