Getting to Bergen's Flesland International Airport

The airport code is BGO and it is served by a number of airlines, the major one being SAS and KLM. Additional details will be added as the conference approaches.

Transportation from the Bergen’s Flesland Airport to Solstrand Fjord Hotel

There is a bus that shuttles guests between the airport and the hotel. Details of its schedule will be posted here as the conference dates approach. We are negotiating with the bus company to undertake additional trips during the days preceding the conference.

Bus fare is approximately 100 NOK. The cost of a taxi from the airport to the hotel would be approximately 600 NOK.

Simply tell the taxi or bus driver that you wish to go to the Solstrand Fjord Hotel. They will know where it is, and they will all speak English.

Transportation from Solstrand Fjord Hotel to Downtown Bergen

A bus will be available to shuttle delegates to and from the hotel and downtown Bergen in the mornings and evenings, except on those days on which there are organized social events. Alternatively, the hotel’s concierge can inform you of how to use the public transit system.
