14 October 2009 - LFC2012 receives a grant from The Research Council of Norway! |

We are pleased to announce that The Research Council of Norway's "Oceans and Coastal Areas" Program has awarded LFC2012 with a grant in partial support of keynote speakers, students and the publication of a proceedings book. Additional funding will be requested from several other agencies so that, as for LFC2002, we will do our best to facilitate student participation in the meeting.

24 April 2009 - Harald Kryvi delivers another memorable theme image! |

Harald Kryvi - Professor of Biology at the University of Bergen and the talented artist who created the memorable theme image for LFC2002 ("The Big Fish Bang") - has delivered the theme image for LFC2012: "A Stream of Fish" (click on the link above to view a larger version of the poster). The print - made from a copper etching - has been scanned and printed as a poster. The poster will be widely distributed to promote the conference. Email Howard Browman if you would like a copy!
